The Best Credit Repair Company - How to Decide

Posted on February 16th, 2008 by Marc Chase Posted in Credit Repair | 11 Comments

How do you know if a credit repair company you're about to trust with your most personal information with is the best choice for your needs? Do their sales pitches accurately portray the service you’ll receive? Are there warning signs to look for? Which features should you consider, and which ones should you discard as sales hype?

To answer these questions you first have to think about your personal needs, your current situation and your future goals. Where one may be the best credit repair company for somebody else – it may be entirely the wrong company for you.

With that said, I’ve compiled a list of general guidelines that anybody looking for the best credit repair company can safely use as a checklist. For the most part they are in order of priority. Feel free to reorganize them to fit your needs, but all things considered I think it’s fairly reliable.

Posted on January 22nd, 2008 by Marc Chase Posted in Industry News | 15 Comments

For those of you who know my background - know that I’ve pretty much had two careers.

From 1988 until 2000 I worked in the investment and financial planning industry. From 2000 on, I’ve been right here harassing the credit bureaus.

Today, I wanted to dust off my economic hat and talk about the economy. There are some economic trends I haven’t seen in a long time (if ever), including big time opportunities.

The Prohibition of 2008 - They Can’t Be Serious. Can They?

Posted on January 11th, 2008 by Marc Chase Posted in Credit Repair | 3 Comments

I’m not much of a historian, but I have a vague understanding of the prohibition of 1920’s.

In short, advocates of the prohibition thought alcohol was “the devils advocate“, responsible for crime, poverty etc. On January 16th. 1920, the 18th amendment was put into place to make it illegal to sell, transport or manufacture alcohol.
