Credit Dispute Letters - Original Creditors
This is a dispute letter that is sent to the original creditor on an account that the credit bureaus have already verified as accurate.
If you believe one of your credit accounts is reporting inaccurate information on your credit report(s), but the credit bureaus continue to verify it as accurate information, your next course of action would be an original creditor dispute.
Send your dispute to the creditors themselves, demanding they verify all information they’re sending to the credit bureaus. These can include anything from inaccurate late payment dates to incorrect balances that the credit bureaus themselves initially verified as accurate information on your credit report.
