    Can I sue a collection agency?

    I have sent LVNV Funding a Cease & Desist letter on two separate occasions now. The second time I did so registered & certified mail so I was sure that they received it. Today I come home to find that not only did they call my house, but that they were threatening my 14 year old daughter. I was informed that this was the only way to make them stop. Well it hasn't worked in the slightest. Do I have any legal recourse in this situation?

    They are governed by the FDCPA If you have documented everything and LVNV Funding has violated your rights, you certainly can take them to small claims court.
