I have about a half dozen collections on my credit report. 2 of them are currently under dispute and I'm making payments toward the others. On my most recent payment, I found that the payment had been applied to a debt that is under dispute even though I intended to apply it toward another debt. I am trying to find a law about disputes and multible debts. Any advice?
