collections can be easy to fix

when i was having problems with my credit i sent dispute letters to the credit bureaus to have them removed. i had heard it works so i had to try it. and believe it or not it did work so if you have any problems with collections you can just dispute it and it will come off your credit report. I did this with 5 collections and it worked for 3. thats pretty good results if you ask me. if i learn anything else i'll let yall know

any other tips or tricks? im working on raising my credit score and could use some input. too bad you cant dispute your credit score!

Good Job Ferris; however, be very careful when disputing a collection and do not be suprised if you get another collection agency trying to collect for that same debt you just got deleted. Sometimes, collection agencies will sell off the debt if they were simply unable to collect, are outside the state statute, Company went out of buisness, or they are just trying to get rid of older accounts. Be on the lookout for a new collection agency coming after you.
