Hey Everyone!

So I found this great job that I thought I would be the perfect candidate for. I have a great background history and strong work ethics. I was so excited when I was filling out the job application because I knew for sure I would get the job with my skills and experience. But then as I go further into the application, they ask me to sign a place where it okays them to pull my credit. "Oh no," I thought. I know I don't have the perfect credit score and I know it's definitely going to hurt my chances. I mean, I've been out of a job for a while and I've had to depend on credit cards and a few bills have been late. What are they exactly looking for when the employer pulls your credit? How high of a score would I need to get a good job? Are they just looking at your credit score or are they going in deeper and looking at all your derogatory accounts? Any answers to these questions would help.
