I keep reading how debt consolidation is not a good idea. and based on the fact that debt consolidation seems to slow down the repayment process (and cost you more in interest and other charges) I would agree. I recently joined a "money management" program. they do not claim to be a debt consolidation firm, yet the fact that theyre taking all my available money and distrubing it to my creditors....does this sound like a consolidation companay under guise of a "money management" com[any? or is there a difference?
