I have three accounts that are verified and I need to settle before it gets any worse. I am in a really tight situation right now so even if I can get a certain settlement I wouldn't be able to pay it all at once. Does collection companies, or whoever has the debt at the moment, take payment arrangements? If so, would they go as long as like a 6-month to a year plan until the debt is paid off?

Like I said, I have three accounts I need to settle. All are around $1000-$2000. I'm really tight with money right now but I want to get this taken care of, at least not ignore anymore, so it doesn't get any worse like judgments. So my best bet is making a long term payment arrangement. But will they consider this or does it have to be paid in one large sum? Thanks again guys!
