was I scammed by a credit repair company?

how can you determine if youve been scammed by a credit repair company? of course we all hear about the scams. i paid a company for more than 9 months.

in all, i had a total of 2 collections removed completely. of the four original removed items, 2 re-appeared on the credit report. is this an all out scam or what?

Hi Billy,

Its hard to say whether or not you got scammed. Obviously they did do something because stuff was deleted. It sounds like a more appropriate way of looking at is you paid for services that didn't work. Somebody else just asked a similar question. You can see that post here.
