Repair Bad Credit
Hey again,
Now, I've sent my dispute letters to the credit bureaus because I'm trying to repair my bad credit and I've read somewhere that that's one of the basic steps to repairing credit. It's been about 3 weeks now and I haven't heard anything back yet. How long does it take for the bureaus to respond? I'm hoping these letters will clean most of it up, but if they don't what's my next step? Should I send another set of letters to the bureaus disputing the same items? If so, how long should I wait until I can redispute?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again,

Improving Your Credit
Hi Penny,
It's hard to say whether or not simple dispute letters alone will improve your credit. There's a lot of variables involved. If you'd like to send us your credit reports and copies of the letters you sent, we'd be more than happy to give you our opinion.
But to answer your question, the credit bureaus have 30 days plus mail time to respond to your disputes. I'd wait another couple weeks, then perhaps send them a slow response letter.
Here's a little more infomation on how to improving credit
