military credit and deployment questions
i want to know what happens to my credit when i get deployed. I will be deployed within the month and i just started paying attention to my credit. i don't want to damage it by leaving. i want good credit when i get back.
i have a year lease on my apartment with more than six months left. will i have to cancel the lease early or pay out the nose for rent when im not even there? i am not married. are there any ways around this for deployed marines? please let me know.
also i have two credit cards. i have been using them sparingly every month and always making my payments on time. should i cancel the credit cards or just let them sit there? wont my credit score go down if the cards arent used?
finally the motorcycle. i still owe more than 3 thousand on a six thousand dollar bike. i will be gone for six months minimum so if i give the bike back does it hurt my credit?
and...
if my credit is hurt somehow when i'm over seas, is there a way to take care of it easily since i was deployed?
thanks for reading
