What about programs like privacy assist from Bank of American? It gives you your score and identity theft so they say.

Here's the thing with these identity theft services. In general I'm not a real fan, take Lifelock for example. The recent lawsuit against them has exposed what they truly do - which is put a fraud alert on your credit report.
Here's what I don't like about that. Sure it adds security, but I don't see the point in paying for that every month. It's a simple phone call; one you can make yourself. Additionally, if your identity is stolen you're on your own and that's actually the hardest part.
That's why we created "Credit Insurance" and own the trademark. We put the same Fraud alert, but just like auto or health insurance....should your identity be stolen, we take care of the entire process of repairing the damage for you (hence the name credit insurance)
So, to answer your question do i think their identity theft services are worth it? That's up to you. Just know it only helps prevent identity theft, but nothing to help repair it.
Hope that helps

Client Testimonials
To the staff at My Credit Group,
As a senior loan specialist for one of the nations top lenders, being able to deliver top notch services to our clients is paramount. Admittedly, I was hesitant to refer my clients to a credit repair company.
That was two years and several successful loans ago, and I can honestly say that you've handled every aspect of your business with complete professionalism. I've heard nothing but but exceptional feedback from my clients, and outstanding results in their credit scores.
To anybody considering using a credit repair company, My Credit Group is the only choice in my opinion.
Sincerely,
Eric Atilano Sr. Loan Specialist
